The show 'A Ball on the Farm: Choreographies for Portinari' presented, in six independent ballet modules, themes such as social issues, childhood, scarecrows, feet, hands, torsos and dances in the countryside, all inspired by the painter's work. Portinari's works that explored these themes were projected onto the back of the stage in the performance, providing a unique visual immersion. This revival brought back to the stage the show that delighted audiences and critics alike in 1998.
