Curated by Marcello Dantas and supported by the Portinari Project, Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil in Rio de Janeiro held the 'Portinari Raros' exhibition from June 29 to September 12, 2022. The exhibition featured original works that, for various reasons, have remained out of reach of the public, with themes ranging from abstracts, fauna, and flora to children and theater.
In addition to the works, and to delve deeper into the artist's universe, the Carrousel Raisonnée installation was presented, a journey around the world of approximately five thousand of the artist's works by means of a large projection.
