Description
Composition in black and white. Straight lines, parallel and chiaroscuro. Boy sitting in cane fields, occupying more than half the height of the composition. The figure is from the front, with his head slightly tilted to the left and slightly outlined face. He has black hair and facial features represented by a few lines. Holds in his on the right hand a knife and on the left what appears to be a piece of cane. Wears shirt represented by vertical parallel lines, horizontal and inclined, short pants and black shoes, which enhance the chiaroscuro of the composition. Basically, predominance of vertical lines representing sugarcane fields and dark leaves.
