Description
Composition in black and white. Lines defining contours, shading setting volumes, small curved lines and scrapes. Plowman standing at rest position, with the spade hand, occupying almost the entire area of the support. The man is black and strong, faces his face almost in profile to the left. Have distinctive head shape of the black race, black kinky hair, coarse facial features poorly defined, thick neck. He has stretched his on the right arm forward, the cord holding a hoe which is supported on the floor and the on the left arm lying along the body. It wears short-sleeved shirt and long pants rolled up. At the bottom, on the right, cut tree trunk and the upper half on the left, black spot. The design is all shaved in the vertical and horizontal direction.
