Composition in blue tones, green, ochre, earthy, gray, red and yellow. Smooth and rough texture in the two figures in the foreground. miners It depicts in the river. In the foreground, the river represented by blue and green geometrical areas. On the right back miner, 3/4 facing left, bent forward with panning in the hands and legs dipped into the water to the height of the shins. It's with nude torso, muscular, wearing white pants at the knees and a straw hat on his head. Further back, to the left, half-length front prospector with his head down. Safe panning with the on the left hand, has his on the right hand cupped reaping nugget and wears white short-sleeved shirt. In the background, a little more to the right, we see repeated the foreground composition with two other miners in the same positions of the figures in the foreground: what is standing wears white clothes with green belt and represented in half-length, white shirt of half sleeve. Both bring little hat on. The miners have the facial features just outlined. In the background, beach representation, hills and blue sky.
