Title
Forest I
Description
Composition in dark tones of earthy, red, green, violet and black and ochre, gray, yellow, white and blue. Smooth texture and light effects shaved that define the hair of animals. Composition representing animals in a forest. In the foreground, large still water range crosses the entire width of the support, looking to the right, two maned Amazon, red; one of them is in profile to the left and the other a little further back, is in profile to the right. This is with the head tilted down and leaning on its long nozzle water. The center and on the left, stylized water plants, suggesting some water lilies, and others close to the left side edge, suggesting ways of calla milk or anthuriums. In the background, ground in tone reddish earthy, looking to the left and on the right trees, of which only the trunks are visible, distributed symmetrically in perspective for background; We on the left, two deer, side by side, standing and in profile to the right. They are with ears pricked, have little horns and seem to be looking toward, another doe that is on the right in the center of the composition, on his back, lying on the paws and ears horizontally. More to the right, near the loins of that animal, you see a monkey standing on a small branch of a tree; he has dark hair, is in profile to the left, with the head turned toward the doe lying. On the third level, on the right, three dogs profile to the right, side by side, running, seeing if stretched paws and in the air; on the right two dogs and a doe, all profile to the left, also running, but isolated. Might falling from the left of the composition illuminates the rear and the heads of the two deer of the background, and more dim light creates chiaroscuro effects not very contrasting on the trunks of trees and over the other animals.
