Description

Composition in ochre, gray, earthy, blue, white, black, green and red. Smooth texture. Two men on the raft; one on horseback and the other holding another horse by the neck against geometrized background. The raft is diagonal from the center to the left of the composition, with a man standing in the front end, in the foreground, with the head 3/4 to on the right, open arms to the outstretched on the left hand and legs apart. Wears baggy pants and plaid shirt with red stains. Behind and to the left of this, another man standing on the raft, the back, holding in his on the right hand a rope that hangs from sailing ahead, and is rolled on the floor between the legs of the first figure. In the raft of background, two blue benches. on the far left of the composition, standing man facing right, wearing long coat, boots and hat, featuring a gaucho. Secure with both hands a horse with his head raised and turned to the left, the mane represented in exaggerated size, flitting on the right and on the left paw raised.
