Composition in blue tones, earthy, green, white, black, red and orange. Smooth texture. Composition representing three episodes of the History of Brazil: the arrival of the Portuguese; Anchieta writing in the sand, and our independence. The scene are depicted against colored irregular areas creating amoeboid forms. On the left, three ships with billowing sails decorated with the Maltese cross. In the center of Figure Anchieta writing in the sand, just outlined and on the right group of human figures also only suggested.
