Description
Composition in light shades of ochre, blue, gray, green, rose, earthy, black and white. Smooth, thick texture in some details of the foreground and marked brushstrokes. Composition representing two juxtaposed It depicts two moments of the urban evolution of the State of Minas Gerais and the group of Inconfidentes led by Tiradentes. To the left of the support area, view of the colonial city, looking up church towers, houses roofs and slope in sharply geometrized composition in areas of light and dark, highlighting the background, near the top edge, darker triangular area suggesting hills. To the left of center, group of the ten Inconfidentes, all in walking distance and 3/4 facing right. What's more the front of the group seems to be Tiradentes wearing blue uniform, with collar, cuffs and orange piping, tights, doublet on vest and high boots. It has the on the left arm throughout the body and bent forward and on the right hand holding the somewhat undefined. To his on the left, slightly behind man wearing civilian clothes gray with green vest also tights, doublet and wearing closed shoes with buckle. Has arms folded forward to being with his on the left hand suggests be pointing towards the lanscape to the right holder. Behind Tiradentes, man wearing uniform similar to his; more behind priest using black cassock and part of the heads of the six other figures that make up the group. The center and the on the right area of the composition, view of modern city, looking from the left to the right: compact area of skyscrapers that almost occupy the entire height of the support, defined by sharp vertical geometrism of rectangular areas where windows they are represented by small dark areas distributed symmetrically and mass of buildings of varying heights finding himself in the background, some factory chimneys. In the foreground, one sees the top three electric poles, one of them cutting the composition vertically, from where several wires diagonally in all directions and on which are perched groups of light and dark swallows, some aimed at and other on the right to the left.
