Description
Composition in gray, white, black, blue, earthy, green and ochre. Smooth texture. Contour shapes defined by black lines. Composition representing man wearing frame Bumba-meu-boi and opossum player in street environment, seeing to the bottom part of building facades. To the left of the composition, 3/4 man sitting facing right. Face with indicated facial features, wears plaid shirt, pants below the knees and bare feet. It is with a opossum on her lap, with the on the right arm inside the instrument and on the left hand holding the edge, her legs are bent looking to on the right and on the left on the ground vertically. The center and on the right of the composition, man standing in profile to the left, with the head forward and slightly fallen to the right. wear cone-shaped hat with tab and facial features has roughly indicated; it wears kind of jacket and is barefoot. His on the left arm is bent and has oversized hand that holds in kind rein horse frame Bumba-meu-boi who is wearing. The animal is the profile body to the left and his head turned to the right. It has an open mouth with large mane and thick rope around his neck. The animal body is defined by the kind of white plain cloth and winding tail comma-shaped. Ground and background defined by geometrical areas in shades of gray and blue. Background with line on the right diagonal to on the left and front to back, with areas suggesting facades of buildings. Might areas cross the composition creating artificial lighting, a bit theatrical.
