Description
Composition in black, blue, yellow, red and white. Few contour lines, angular features, dotted and shaded. Boy sitting on the bench with lamb in her arms, occupying almost the entire stand area. Front boy, head tilted to the left and down toward the animal's head in her lap. Has short black hair represented by angular features, shadowed face on the right, slightly suggested facial features, arms wrapped around the ram and legs apart. Wears shirt suggested by yellow shading and pants rolled up above his knees, barefoot. Sheep is lying profile to the left, has well-marked eye, ear and fallen blue shading body. Two parallel straight lines vertically pass through the center of the composition to the head of the child.
