Boys Playing
Description
Composition in black and white. Contour lines, overlapping lines and parallel lines. Composition representing group of boys playing football, girl crying and light pole to the right of the composition. Group of children, is arranged more or less at on the right diagonally to the left front to the back. All the boys have given clothes, are bare, two of them wear hat, some have eyes and mouths slightly suggested by points and the shape of their heads is indicated by the lack of lines, in contrast to the saturated background graphics. The three boys are almost on the right back and appear to be running after the ball and the meeting of the group of six other boys who are on the right of center of the composition. Almost all are facing, some have legs bent and have your arms straight, open or lifted up. Behind this group, on the right of center, girl figure standing in front, indicated by the skirt and the ribbon in her hair, with the bent on the left arm and hand over his eyes as if crying. To the left of center, five other boys, almost every front; the first is lying down, sitting on the floor with legs apart and on the left hand on the head. Behind him, boy standing, legs apart and raised on the left arm. Further back, on the left, hat boy with legs and open arms. On the right, boy also hat with arms crossed over his chest. Farther boy's suggestion, also with his arms raised. In the upper half of the composition, lamppost representation vertically with the beam inclined horizontally. Next to the post, boy suggestion with open arms. The floor is represented by geometrical darker areas in the region where the boys step, and lighter in the other. The sky is represented by lighter next narrow strip top edge of the composition.

The signature closest to the edge is in lead pencil, but the work's dark background renders it barely visible; the one above it in white India ink was added later at the owner's request.
