Description
Composition in blue tones, earthy, orange, red, black and violet. Some contour lines, fast and shaded lines. Composition representing kneeling, on his back, with his arms raised, occupying almost the entire area of the composition against a plain background. The figure is back, kneeling, has arms raised and hands flat in orange and red tones; slightly fallen head back, smooth and black hair. Using wide-sleeved dress cut at the waist, represented by lines overlapping tones earthy and dark blue. Legs, also in orange and red shades, with heels together and separated points. Plain background, with light shaded in light blue, bypassing some regions the figure - like the hands, feet and head.

The dedication and inscription were erased, whether intentionally or with age is unknown. Both are visible on the poster publicizing Portinari's exhibition in Jerusalem [CZ 38].
