Composition in ochre, earthy, green, gray, white, red, blue and black. Smooth texture. Hill representation of Santa Teresa to the convent at the top, surrounded by houses and cloudy sky. In the foreground on the left, houses, are seeing parts of roofs, poles with extended clothes and small shrubs. On the right construction with high wall tone red earthy, white walls and three blue windows. In the background, the hill in ochre seeing in the center a clothesline clothes, on the left, continuation of houses and on the right, two houses. At the top of the hill, the monastery viewed from the side, with the facade of the front to the right where you see the leafy canopy of a tree. The building is surrounded by walls painted gray and finished off at the top by white band. In the background, cloudy sky in gray tones.

This work depicts the view of the Santo Antônio hillside with the convent on top, as seen from a window of Portinaris atelier at Rua Teotônio Regadas 34 in Lapa, Rio de Janeiro, where the artist lived from 1931 to 1932
