Description
Composition in tones earthy, blue, ochre and rose. Smooth texture, brushwork marked in some areas and visible support in areas where the paint is very diluted. Woman's head in profile, occupying almost the entire support area against background in stained blue tones. The figure is in profile to the left, has brown hair tied round bun at the nape, with lighter areas suggesting brightness and volume in the middle of the head and coke. The figure has the eyebrow and the eye just suggested, covered by dark shadow zone, marked from the forehead to the neck. The nose is large has the slightly parted lips, rounded chin and thick neck. The jaw and part of the neck are marked by well-light areas, contrasting with the dark band and with her hair. It has well-defined ear. Stained background in blue tones, and there are clear area that surrounds the figure.
