Description
Composition in ochre, earthy, green, violet, blue, white, yellow and orange. Resulting rough texture of the wall itself. Composition representing woman with child on his back, holding a fish in a closed environment. The woman is on the left of center, 3/4 toward the on the right. He is kneeling on the right leg; the arms are bent and the safe hands legs of a boy who is seated at the back of his neck. He has a round face with clear facial features and elongated neck revealing some significant deformation. wears red ochre shirt and green skirt, earthy and gray geometrical areas. He is barefoot and has blue feet. The boy seems to be sleeping, he has fallen head to the right and wear ochre clothes long sleeves. He has curly hair and on the right arm down, holding in hand a fish. The on the left arm is bent and the hand holds something indefinite. The floor is covered with tiles, whose intersections are in blue. The background is in geometrical areas in ochre and earthy tones.

Work originally made to decorate a dining room wall in the home of poet Rafael Alberti in Punta del Este, Uruguay. In 1982, Uruguayan conservator Manoel Nigro cut the work from the wall and affixed it to canvas.
