In the foreground, on the left, a indigenous is standing, facing forward, wearing a thong, his legs spread, his right arm bent in front of the body and his left arm raised; his hands hold an ax and it seems he is just about to hit the tree to his right, which already has the trunk base partially cut; on the right there is a cut tree trunk with an ax cable shoved into it.
