Description
Composition in black and white. Contour lines, overlapping lines, intersecting and shaded. Composition representing the forest felling It depicts with three indigenous working, seeing to the bottom a doe. To the left of center, Indian standing, facing, with ax in the hands with which strikes tree on the left of the composition. The Indian has the strong body wears thong feathered, is with legs wide open and bare feet. Behind him, several logs already cut, scattered on the floor. To the right, two indigenous, one facing the other, bent down and ready to pick up a log resting on the ground. The front is on his back, naked and with legs ajar. The bottom faces, wears thong and is also with legs apart. In the background, in the center, Profile doe to the left, with ears, eyes and nose indicated. In the background, suggesting the forest tree trunks.
