Sugar Cane
Description
Composition in tones earthy, ochre, violet, green, blue, gray and white. Smooth texture, and the strokes are apparent. Color was used to serve as a road map in the execution of mural by setting only, large colored areas. The figures are only outlined, with no defined facial features. The composition is, men working in a sugarcane field against geometrized background. In the foreground on the left figure of a man in profile to the right, with the upper body leaning forward, pressing the burden back tied by ropes, holding, hands. On the ground, several cane tied bundles. In the background, on the right, two profile pictures to the right, side by side, and the secure front on the right hand, which is raised, a machete and the on the left hand holds a walking cane and on the right foot, slightly , further on the left, looking to a gourd on the floor behind her legs. The second figure is partly covered by the former. On the third level, to the left, hidden man from the waist down, in the foreground figure, he faces has his head tilted down wearing a hat and carries beam back. In the background, two more figures poorly defined, and geometrical areas.
